My best horse is in rehabilitation and will not be able to train and be physically ready for the World Championships, Fredricson tells Radiosporten.
Jens Fredricson and Markan Cosmopolit were strong contributors to the World Team gold medal in 2022 in Herning and anchors of the team that won the European Championships in Milan in 2023.
The team missed the 2024 Paris Olympics, but made a comeback last year. The horse is 16 years old, and its future in competition is therefore uncertain.
The World Championships will be held in Aachen, Germany in August. The championship squad in show jumping includes Peder Fredricson, Henrik Von Eckermann and Wilma Hellström.
