The 23-year-old offensive star has extended her contract with the NWSL team Washington Spirit, committing to the club for another three years.
The contract extends until 2028 and involves an annual salary, including bonuses, of around SEK 20 million.
Rodman, who is the daughter of basketball icon Dennis Rodman, hopes the new agreement can have greater significance than just sporting success.
"I think this just opens up opportunities for American girls with dreams. I am one of them and I was one of them, so I am very grateful for it," she said in a statement.
Rodman has made 47 appearances for the United States.
