French gaming giant Ubisoft plunged 34 percent on the Paris Stock Exchange after the company launched a savings program and canceled six game projects.

The gaming giant, which is behind games like "Assassin's Creed," recently announced that it will close its Stockholm game studio and a studio in Halifax, Canada. Game studios in Malmö, Helsinki and Abu Dhabi will be reorganized.

The company is taking a €650 million write-down for the restructuring. Ubisoft now expects losses of around €1 billion, equivalent to around SEK 10 billion, for the full year 2026.
