The film is written by Tarantino but directed by David Fincher (“Seven,” “The Social Network”) and is set in 1977, eight years after the Manson family events in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Cliff Booth has put his stunt career on the shelf and become a “fixer” in Hollywood. It is still unclear whether Leonardo DiCaprio will return as the aging TV star Rick Dalton.
According to a press release from Netflix, the film will be shown exclusively in IMAX theaters for two weeks starting November 25 and will be released on Netflix on December 23.
