The challenges are getting tougher for the remaining participants in "Sweden's Master Chef" on TV4.

In addition to cooking a meal for children – with ingredients randomly picked by the same children – on Sunday evening, the contestants would cook a dish in which algae, seaweed or seaweed played a prominent role.

Star chef and jury member Thomas Sjögren began the competition by inviting the skeptical adepts to a seafood masterclass.

But even after a first taste of sugarcane, participant Linnea Jarnrot was blown away and had to run to the first trash can.

"It was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. The texture is disgusting, the taste is terrible, everything is just crap," she said, insisting that she usually eats most things but that this was simply impossible to swallow.

Despite the shaky start, Linnea Jarnrot managed to cook a baked cod loin with potato and seaweed puree that the jury described as perfect and the tastiest fish they had eaten during the season.

Lukas Bergvall also received the highest score for his dish, and in the end it was Omar Ramadan who had to leave the competition.
