The drone was discovered around 13 kilometers from the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.
It was a violation of the Access Regulation, and we take it very seriously, Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) said to Sveriges Radio's Ekot.
The incident occurred on February 25 while the aircraft carrier was in port at Malmö. The navy disrupted the drone and then followed a Russian signals-intelligence ship, from which the drone had taken off, out of Swedish territorial waters.
The conversation with the ambassador took place last Thursday, just over a week after the violation.
