The EU's trade commissioner Maros Sefcovic will be in Washington on Monday for negotiations with his counterparts in the USA, announces the EU Commission.
Commissioner Sefcovic is going to Washington with good intentions to try to find solutions that benefit us all, says trade spokesperson Olof Gill at a press briefing in Brussels.
Sefcovic is expected to meet at least the USA's trade minister Howard Lutnick and trade representative Jamieson Greer.
The EU is interested in finding solutions that both sides win from, says Gill.
