The national team players agree. Both teams have an extraordinary striker. There is great respect for Lewandowski, who at the age of 37 is still delivering at the top level. At the same time, there is great agreement about Gyökeres' importance to the national team.

"He was hot in the last match, scored a hat-trick. I believe in Gyökeres one hundred percent," says Lucas Bergvall.

The midfielder emphasizes how important the powerful striker is.

He is good in all areas of the game. He is a "No. 9 tank" and also good in depth and creates chances. There is not much more you could ask for.

“All respect for him”

Jesper Karlström fills in:

We're happy to have such a striker up front, at a world-class level. I'm sure he'll have a really good game again.

But as Karlström also points out, Lewandowski still delivers after all these years as one of world football's most high-profile strikers.

I have all the respect for him and what he has done in his career. Of course we know that he is also a world-class player.

Carl Starfelt is one of the defenders tasked with stopping the Barcelona star.

That's something I'm looking forward to. A world-class striker who, if you give him chances, will take them. But if Viktor plays close to what he did against Ukraine, I think he'll win the duel.

Team captain and fellow centre-back Victor Nilsson Lindelöf:

Fantastic to maintain that level for so many years, to play that football and score so many goals for club and country. I just want to congratulate him on his career. I heard he's turning 38. Pretty cool. That shows what kind of player he is.

“Has that extra feeling”

The difficulty in facing Lewandowski?

Quite a few different things. He's good at scoring goals, smart, moves well, good at finding spaces inside the box that are difficult to defend. He has that extra sense for where the ball is going to come.

Anthony Elanga on the Polish goal machine:

He has done very well the three times we have met. He is top, top. He is still playing well and we have to respect the level he is at.

Can you point out things that Gyökeres has developed since he joined Arsenal?

Everything. He has had to change a lot. There is a big difference between the Portuguese league and the Premier League, but he has done well. They're number one and he has scored a lot of goals at Arsenal.
