The Armed Forces have previously had no objections. But after the municipality recently took a positive stance towards one of the wind farms, the authority changed its mind.
"The proposed wind power establishment would cause significant damage to the national interest for the military part of the total defense, which is covered by secrecy," the defense writes in a statement to the county administrative board.
City councilor Johan Persson (S) says that he has been trying to reach an agreement with the defense for a year and is dissatisfied with the handling.
