The center back, who came from Kristianstad before the 2022 season, managed 116 matches for Häcken.
The reward for the hard work included, among other things, three large silver medals in the women's top league and as many silver medals in the Swedish Cup. Additionally, a successful adventure in the Champions League, which led all the way to the quarterfinals.
"It's a tough decision to leave the club and all the players and leaders. It feels tough, but at the same time, I'm ready for something new," says Rybrink in a press release.
It's unclear where Rybrink will continue her career.
Sports manager Christian Lundström about Josefine Rybrink:
"It's a very skilled player who is leaving us, who has gone from playing in the U23 national team and Kristianstad to the Champions League and the senior national team. The three years with Josefine are a good grade for our ability to manage and develop already skilled players."
