We can confirm that Sweden is invited, but it's a bit unclear what level it is at, says Mikael Ågren, duty communicator at the Defence Forces.
It was the UK's Prime Minister Keir Starmer who, after Saturday's digital summit with 25 leaders from Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, invited to a new meeting in London on Thursday. This is to further discuss the military support to Ukraine, including potential European forces on the ground.
A similar meeting was held earlier in the week in Paris. Then, Sweden's Supreme Commander Michael Claesson participated, but who will represent Sweden this time is unclear.
It will probably not be the Supreme Commander. Who it will be will become clear later, says Mikael Ågren.
