The dance band Sannex is calling it quits, TV4 reports. The orchestra competed in Melodifestivalen 2021 with the song "All inclusive" but now announces that they are calling it quits after a farewell tour next year.

We want to give it our all during our last year and are announcing it early so that everyone who wants to can see us until September 2026. It will be a hell of a finish, says singer Andreas Olsson to TV4.

Andreas Olsson has been with the band since 2007 and feels that the audience is divided and has different expectations. Some come to dance while others just want to experience a concert.

Unfortunately, in some places, people are not considered welcome if they have not taken dance classes, and that has scared away the general public, he says.

Sannex was formed in Uppsala in 1977. Since 2013, the band has won four Guldklavar awards during the Malung dance band week and a Grammis. The band has also participated in "Allsång på Skansen".
