It took 16 years for The Cure to release a new album after "4:13 dream". But now it's going much faster. According to Billboard, the band is releasing a new live album early next year.
The live album was recorded in London during a launch evening for the latest album "Songs of a lost world". The concert, where the band performed all eight tracks on the album, was live-streamed on Youtube.
"Songs of a lost world" has become both a critical and sales success for the veterans in The Cure. It gave the band its first top list number one in the UK since 1992 and the album has also sold well in the USA.
