When the festival now makes its first artist release, it is clear that the British veterans The Cure will make a Sweden visit. They have with them, among other things, the album "Songs of a lost world" which was released last year – their first in 16 years. The band debuted with the album "Three imaginary boys" in 1979 and has sold over 30 million albums.
Also the British Gorillaz, with the Blur front figure Damon Albarn at the forefront, will come to the festival. So will the American r’n’b star Ravyn Lenae.
Way Out West 2026 will take place in Slottsskogen in Gothenburg on August 13-15. A first limited number of tickets will be released on October 13.
