Värnamo continues to chase points to rescue Allsvenskan play next year.

Against Mjällby, the club had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

As long as we don't lose football matches, it's good, but draws won't take us all the way to the goal, says Victor Larsson to Max.

Värnamo started strongly, took the lead through a neat, cool chip from Ajdin Zeljkovic in the 13th minute. In the 75th minute, Mjällby's Tom Pettersson equalized.

Right after the match, you want to take three points with you. But it was an even match and 1-1 reflects the match pretty well, says Larsson.

Värnamo is 12th on 24 points in the somewhat faltering table. Behind, among others, IFK Göteborg, 23 points, Halmstad, 22, and Kalmar FF, 21, are chasing. The trio has one fewer match played compared to Värnamo.
