A 90-year-old Australian saltwater crocodile named Burt has passed away. And what's so special about that? Well, Burt was a crocodile star in the film classic "Crocodile Dundee" from 1986.
Burt spent his last years at the Crocosaurus Cove aquarium in Darwin.
"It is with great sadness that we must announce that Burt, the iconic crocodile and star of the classic 'Crocodile Dundee', has died", the aquarium staff writes on Instagram and adds that he "died a peaceful death".
In the film, Burt "starred" alongside Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski. He will now be honored with his own memorial plaque at the aquarium.
