In the leaked documents and emails from the investigation into convicted and now deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, new details emerge about his connections to Sweden via a well-known Swedish-American financier.
The businesswoman put young Swedish women from her network in contact with Epstein and one of them was Princess Sofia, as Sofia Hellqvist, who met the billionaire several times, reveals Dagens Nyheter .
The court confirms that she met Jeffrey Epstein in various social contexts.
"Princess Sofia has been introduced to the person in question on a few occasions around 2005," the information department writes in an email to DN.
The court has not answered where, how, or why she met Jeffrey Epstein.
