Half of the points awarded in the Melodifestivalen final come from the viewers – half from an international jury.
This year, the jury consists of representatives from Australia, Finland, Greece, the Czech Republic, France, Armenia, Croatia and Italy, SVT announced in a press release. Each jury group is made up of people who work with music in their home countries.
"The purpose of the international jury is to contribute an international perspective and help select the entry that has the best potential for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026," the press release states.
