A larger area of rain is coming in, and since the roads are cold, parts of eastern Västerbotten and possibly up towards the coast of Norrbotten may also be affected, says Maria Svedestig, meteorologist at SMHI.
Snow is also expected to reach as far south as Götaland. During Thursday evening, both Svealand and Götaland may receive some snow.

SMHI's yellow warning for ice slips applies to the coastal region of Västerbotten until Tuesday afternoon, as well as the coastal region of Norrbotten and Västerbotten County from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning.
