Brighton awaits in the next Premier League round. Then Mohamed Salah will be in the Liverpool squad again. On Friday he spoke to coach Arne Slot.

When Mohamed Salah was benched for the third game in a row, he clearly showed his disappointment.

"It feels like the club has thrown me under the bus," he said.

The move resulted in the 33-year-old not being included in the squad for the Champions League match with Inter.

When Liverpool coach Arne Slot held a press conference ahead of Saturday's Brighton match, most of the discussion was about Salah's possible place in the upcoming match squad.

Slot said that a meeting with the player would determine how it would be.

According to British media, the meeting went so well that Slot selected the Egyptian from the squad.

Premier League champion Liverpool has had a tough start to the season and is only in tenth place in the table after 15 rounds.
