The chocolate bear gives out an unexpected dividend

The chocolate giant reports an operating profit of 971 million Swiss francs for the full year 2025.

The result was in line with expectations. The average forecast among analysts was 969 million Swiss francs, according to Bloomberg.

The company's board of directors proposes a dividend of 1.80 Swiss francs per share, which compares with an average forecast of 1.60 Swiss francs.

For 2026, Lindt & Sprüngli expects sales to increase 4-6 percent compared with last year.
