The Norwegian women's handball team is hoping for extra support from the crowd in tonight's World Cup quarter-final against Montenegro. When thousands of Bodø/Glimt supporters are in town anyway, they should go to the handball game. That's what national team player Maren Aardahl thinks.

I urge them to do that. They have time for that. What else are they going to do? she tells NTB.

The World Cup quarter-finals will be played in Dortmund with the return leg at 8:30 p.m. Tomorrow night, Bodø/Glimt will take on Borussia Dortmund in Champions League football.

Around 4,400 Norwegian fans are expected for that match and many of them are already in Dortmund.

Maren Aardahl hopes that many of them will spend the evening watching handball and supporting the Norwegians in the quarterfinals in Westfalenhalle, the arena that is located just a few hundred meters from the Signal Iduna Park football stadium.

"There's not much else to do but watch sports. They can use our game as a warm-up," she says.

Norway has so far won its six matches in the World Cup and has been very convincing.

The Swedish women's handball team was eliminated from the championship after the intermediate round.
