IFK Göteborg is loaning Danish forward Nikolai Baden from Lyngby. The 24-year-old will have his first training session with "Blåvitt" as early as Friday and may be ready to play in Sunday's match against Elfsborg.
"When we've been looking for a new player for our attacking lineup, one of the most important criteria has been that he should be able to compete directly. That's what we get with Nikolai. He has a fine left foot and is a good finisher who has proven to be a goal-scorer in the clubs he's been trusted," says Ola Larsson, technical director, to IFK Göteborg's website.
Baden was recruited as a teenager to Juventus' academy and has later played league football mainly in Austrian Tirol and Dutch Vitesse Arnhem.
IFK Göteborg, which is 12th in the Allsvenskan, has a purchase option on Baden when the loan agreement expires at the end of the year.
