David Mobärg made it all the way to the final, but there Youri Duplessis Kergomand was too tough. It was crazy and really tough, says the Frenchman in Viaplay.

The performance in today's skicross in the World Championship in Veysonnaz was Mobärg's best for the season. He could add 80 points to the total score and is seventh after nine of 17 competitions.

Mobärg was in the lead for a while, but Duplessis Kergomard passed him in a curve.

I didn't think so much because I was really tired, now I'll enjoy, says Duplessis Kergomard in Viaplay's broadcast.

For Mobärg, it was the second visit to the podium. In Arosa, he came third in December.

Mobärg stands in the total score with 289 points. Italian Simone Deromedis leads with 530.

Brother Erik Mobärg was eliminated in the eighth final in Veysonnaz, just like national team colleague Fredrik Nilsson.

Next weekend, competitions await in Val di Fassa, Italy.
