"I've never done base jumping or skydiving. But if you threw yourself from a skyscraper backwards, it felt like five seconds," pilot Victor Glover said at a press conference, according to the BBC.
What he was talking about was a sequence in which the Orion capsule was in free fall for a few seconds after one set of parachutes was released and before the next three large parachutes were deployed.
"When they were revealed, it was wonderful," Glover said with a laugh.
The astronauts praised the toilet in the space capsule, which had some problems.
"I just have to say that it was, without a doubt, a fantastic toilet."
