The film is directed by Martin Sandin, who was born and raised in Växjö and who has followed the band since he was young. He hopes that the film will touch and inspire regardless of what relationship you have to The Ark.
"It's a film about The Ark, but above all a film about friendship", he says in a press release.
The film shows the preparations for the reunion tour in the summer of 2022 along with never-before-seen material from the band's own cameras. The band members themselves are also interviewed.
The film has been created by Martin Sandin together with Kristofer Åkesson who was close to the band during parts of the 2000s. The cinema premiere is set for February 27, 2026.
