Thailand's former queen Sirikit has passed away on Friday, the royal house announces.
She is the current king Maha Vajiralongkorn's mother and was the wife of Thailand's longest-reigning monarch king Rama IX, Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Sirikit was 93 years old, and she passed away late on Friday. King Rama IX was king from 1946 until his death in 2016.
