"I have now received the necessary analytical material and will therefore shortly decide how to proceed with the investigation," writes Chief Prosecutor Anders Jakobsson, who is leading the preliminary investigation, in a press release.
He does not currently want to disclose what the analyses show or what investigative measures will be taken.
In the intervening days, Nyberg was stopped on suspicion of drunk driving, and rapid tests indicated possible drug influence. She has denied the allegations.
Nyberg has served as a member of the Security Service, the Police and the Special Investigations Council. The government announced on Thursday that she will be dismissed from several councils and that a decision on this will be made shortly.
