Tesla has given its humanoid robot an extra boost. The robot Optimus caused long lines when it served popcorn at a Christmas market in Berlin.

Optimus made an unexpected appearance at the Mall of Berlin on Saturday. Videos from curious visitors show the humanoid robot serving popcorn and giving a thumbs up when customers say thank you.

Tesla's car sales have been poor in some markets, including Germany and Sweden. CEO Elon Musk has also argued that the company's future lies in self-driving vehicles and robots. Both of these products have similar computers, which, with the help of AI, will enable them to drive themselves.
