The electric car manufacturer Tesla and the electronics giant Samsung have entered into an agreement worth 16.5 billion dollars, equivalent to 157 billion kronor, for the production of semiconductors.
The agreement runs until the end of 2033.
In a post on X, Tesla owner Elon Musk writes that Samsung's "enormous new factory in Texas will be dedicated to manufacturing Tesla's next generation AI6 chip".
