A 19-year-old man convicted in connection with terrorist plots in Stockholm is appealing his conviction for preparing to commit murder in Germany. An 18-year-old co-defendant is also appealing.

The 19-year-old is not appealing the verdict of preparation for a terrorist crime in Stockholm and aggravated participation in a terrorist organization. However, he denies the preparation for murder in Germany and wants to be acquitted of that.

The 18-year-old co-defendant is also appealing his conviction for aggravated participation in a terrorist organization.

The prosecutor is also appealing and wants the men to receive harsher sentences and for the act in Germany to be classified as attempted murder rather than preparation for murder.

In the district court, the 19-year-old was sentenced to seven years and ten months in prison, and the 18-year-old to closed youth care for one year and four months.
