A robot - the Terminator - is sent back in time to assassinate John Connor, a boy who in the future becomes a military leader in the war between humans and machines. In “T2,” Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a robot reprogrammed to become Connor’s protector.
"T2" won four Oscars and remains one of the highest-grossing films of all time. In Sweden, the film opens in theaters on September 3 as part of a 35th anniversary celebration with a global re-release.
James Cameron comments in a press release from Njutafilms:
"I think it's OK to spoil after 35 years, so SPOILER ALERT: the good guys win against the AI superintelligence! And maybe that's a hopeful message we can all benefit from this summer."
