KD Leader Claims Video Proves She Was Attacked in EU Parliament

EU parliamentarian Alice Teodorescu Måwe (CD) thinks that a film she saw shows that she was attacked by an official from the Left Party in the EU parliament in May – not the other way around. The Left Party office in the EU parliament is critical of how the conflict has been handled.

The confrontation occurred in the EU Parliament's premises in Brussels at the end of May. The versions of what occurred diverge.

"The film confirmed my recollection of what occurred, namely that I was the one who was attacked and not the other way around," writes Alice Teodorescu Måwe on X.

The official from V, who was involved, has reported Teodorescu to the police. The KD top has in turn said that she will make a counter-report.

V has stated that their official received scratches on the arm in connection with the confrontation. And V's office in the EU Parliament is critical that they have not been able to take part of the film yet and is questioning how the situation has been handled.

"Treated differently"

"It is a breach of legal certainty that the two involved in this incident continue to be treated so differently by the EU Parliament," writes Marie Antman, V's chief of staff in the EU Parliament in a comment that TT has taken part of.

Antman is critical that a reported person (Teodorescu Måwe) gets to take part of evidence material before police questioning. She also says that V could not attend the viewing that Teodorescu Måwe got, but that they did not get the opportunity to change the time for the viewing.

V is now promised a viewing of the film on Tuesday next week.

"Scared and shocked"

The film shows that a person confronted her on the way to a meeting and started filming or taking photos with the phone, according to Teodorescu Måwe.

According to KD's chief of staff Natalie Tegelberg, the KD top did not receive any physical injuries, but became scared and shocked.

"The person also expressed themselves aggressively about me as a person and my political stance in the Israel/Palestine conflict. I took up my own phone and asked if I could film back. The person then tried to tear my mobile out of my hand", writes Teodorescu Måwe.
