149 million stolen usernames and passwords have been made available on an open server. The services Gmail, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram are among those affected, including many Swedish accounts.

Passwords for 48 million Gmail accounts, 17 million Facebook accounts, 6.5 million Instagram accounts and 780,000 TikTok accounts were on the server, among other data, security expert Jeremiah Fowler told Dagens Nyheter.

The leak also included accounts for government systems in several countries.

The leak is now gone from the internet and the passwords are no longer available, but according to Fowler it took almost a month before the company that hosted the server took action.
