The Stockholm Stock Exchange Closed Down

It shone red on the Stockholm Stock Exchange when Tuesday's trading closed. At the close, the broad OMXS index had fallen 0.5 percent.

Among the most traded stocks in the OMXS30 index, the gaming company Evolution went against the trend, up 1.1 percent. Also, truck manufacturer AB Volvo and engineering company Sandvik rose 0.3 and 0.2 percent, respectively.

At the other end, defense conglomerate Saab fell 4.1 percent. Cloud service company Sinch also declined, down 3.8 percent, and medical technology company Getinge, minus 1.5 percent.

On the leading stock exchanges in Europe, the trend was mixed – the Paris stock exchange rose, while it pointed downward in Frankfurt and London.

The stock exchanges in the USA rose overall on Monday, but in the initial trading on Tuesday, it pointed downward.

The cryptocurrency bitcoin reached a new high level on Monday and was valued at around $107,000. This can be compared to around $44,000 at the beginning of the year. On Tuesday afternoon, the value is around $106,000.

At the close of the stock exchange, one dollar costs 10.94 kronor and one euro costs 11.49 kronor.
