Ten inland municipalities in northern Sweden warn Postnord delivery office reductions could affect businesses and future establishments in sparsely populated areas

This comes after Postnord announced that it is reducing the number of delivery offices in Sweden, including in the inland region of Norrland.

The number of distribution offices in Sweden has decreased from around 300 to 220 in recent years, and the workforce has fallen from just over 19,000 to under 16,000.

According to Postnord, the changes are being made to adapt its operations for the future.
