The crash occurred near the capital, Nassau, on the island nation’s Independence Day, July 10. The nine passengers and the plane’s pilot died.
"Today is a day of celebration but has become a day of mourning," Prime Minister Philip Davies said at a press conference on Friday.
According to Davies, one person initially survived the crash, but later died from their injuries.
The Cessna plane was flown by Bahamas-based Flamingo Air.
