Telia wants Telenor to be prohibited from using the phrase and other statements with the same meaning when marketing mobile services.
Telenor claims to have the best network after winning most categories in a survey by Opensignal last year. Telia says that Telenor was the sole winner in only two of the categories, and shared the win in nine.
Telia won in two of the 14 categories, and points out that these were precisely the ones that received the "Best overall coverage experience" award.
"This award was of central importance for the assessment of which network could overall be designated as the 'best'," Telia's representative writes in the lawsuit.
