An investigation has been launched, but no one is currently suspected.
Telenor says in the press release that it is cooperating closely with the investigators and that it has had a "close dialogue" with Norwegian prosecutors for some time, and that the company has submitted very extensive documentation and information.
"The company will do its utmost to clarify the matter as far as possible," writes Telenor.
