According to a press release from the company, Harion informed the board on Tuesday that he had decided to resign for personal reasons.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to express our great gratitude to Jean Marc for everything he has contributed as CEO of Tele2 in recent years," said Thomas Reynaud, chairman of the board.
Nicholas Högberg is currently vice president and commercial director of the company's consumer business; he was previously a member of the company's board.
