Two teenage boys, 16 and 18 years old, are sentenced for having thrown a live hand grenade into a villa in Salem south of Stockholm in April this year, reports P4 Stockholm.

The 16-year-old is sentenced to youth supervision for one year for, among other things, crimes against the law on flammable and explosive goods and attempted general destructive violence. He has also transported the hand grenade on public transportation.

The 18-year-old is sentenced to prison for five years and four months for aiding and abetting the crimes and for having involved the 16-year-old in criminal activity.

According to the indictment, the teenagers should have planned to throw more grenades at the victims and their relatives.
