Two 14-year-old boys are suspected of an explosion that occurred at a villa in Hällbybrunn in western Eskilstuna on April 22. This is announced by the Prosecution Authority.
The explosion is said to have been caused by a hand grenade, according to the prosecutor. The suspicions against the teenage boys concern gross crimes against the law on explosive and flammable goods as well as gross general endangerment.
Several people were in the villa during the incident, which occurred at 9 pm in the evening, but no one was injured.
According to the Prosecution Authority, the boys have been questioned by the police and then handed over to social authorities.
