In July last year, a steady stream of advertisements was sent out via messages on encrypted chat applications and websites, according to the indictment. "300,000 kronor to anyone who commits a murder in Stockholm and 250,000 kronor for a murder in Lekeryd in Småland," the advertisements read.
Other assignments involved arson attacks in a hair salon in Linköping and a store in Gävle, the use of hand grenades in Malmö and Denmark, and a shooting at a house in Stockholm.
A 19-year-old from Trelleborg is also being charged with having carried out one of the missions. On July 16, according to the indictment, he ignited a hand grenade that exploded in a stairwell in Rosengård in Malmö.
All three defendants deny any wrongdoing.
