A 14-year-old boy was raped, beaten, and humiliated by several residents at a youth home in Hälsingland. The leading perpetrator in the crime has been sentenced to closed youth care for 10 months for among other things, gross rape, writes Söderhamns-Kuriren.
During the rape, the victim was overpowered by several young people who lived at the home. He was held fast under knife threats while the assault was filmed and the perpetrators laughed mockingly. The films also led to employees at the youth home being able to identify the guilty party.
The perpetrator is also said to have beaten the other boy on another occasion and slashed him with a knife. In addition to the sentence, he will also pay 3,450,000 kronor in damages to the victim.
