A teenage boy has been shot in Hässelby Strand in northwestern Stockholm.
The alarm came in at 01.01 and when the patrol arrived at the scene, the gunshot victim was found.
We received an alarm about loud bangs and when we arrived, the shot person was found. I cannot say more right now, other than that it concerns a person under 18 years old, says Nadya, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.
The boy was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The injuries are not considered life-threatening, says Nadya Norton.
The site is cordoned off for a technical investigation. No one was arrested at 05:00. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
