A boy in his late teens has been taken to hospital after being inflicted with cuts and stab wounds with a sharp object at a high school in Ystad.
Our understanding is that it happened in a common area within the school, says the police's press spokesperson Sara Andersson.
The incident is being investigated as a suspected attempted murder.
He has been taken to hospital by ambulance. We have gone with him to be able to hold a hearing and he has been able to talk to us, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
According to Region Skåne, the teenage boy is lightly injured.
No one has been arrested. A search operation is underway and according to information to the police, the offender is a younger man.
