A man in his late teens was arrested on Monday evening, suspected of raping a teenage girl, reports Helsingborgs Dagblad.
According to the police, the man is 18 years old and the girl is in her late teens.
During the night towards Tuesday, the prosecutor decided to detain the man.
The interviews will be conducted during the day. We are in the initial stage, so I cannot disclose more than that, says assistant prosecutor Aron Limås to TT.
The assault is said to have occurred in a residence in Höganäs late on Saturday evening.
