A teenage boy was arrested on Monday at the Gothenburg District Court, suspected of murdering a 25-year-old man in Gothenburg.
It was on Thursday evening that a man was found shot outdoors near an apartment building in Bagaregården. The man died during the evening from his injuries.
According to information provided to Göteborgs-Posten, the arrested teenager has connections to a criminal network in Biskopsgården.
Earlier on Thursday, another shooting occurred on a parking lot in Partille. The newspaper has learned that the police believe the two shootings may be linked to the conflict between criminal gangs in southern and northern Biskopsgården on Hisingen in Gothenburg.
The stress level between these two groups has been extremely high since the murder of C Gambino, a police source has told Göteborgs-Posten. Rapper C Gambino was shot dead on Hisingen in early June. Two young men are being held in custody, suspected of aiding and abetting the murder.
