The prosecutor had requested nine years in prison.
I may be too "bloodthirsty" here, but I really think this was an incredibly brutal murder, says Chief Prosecutor Robert Eriksson to NT.
The murder took place on March 30, when the man was found severely stabbed outside and later died.
He has stated that he simply chooses to go out and look for an unknown victim for him to end his life on this Sunday, March 30, 2025 in Norrköping, Eriksson said to TT in May.
NT writes that the boy underwent a large forensic psychiatric examination but was not considered to suffer from a serious mental disorder, and therefore he could have been sentenced to prison.
The prosecutor has not decided whether it will be appealed yet.
The judge in the case said during the trial that the perpetrator "undoubtedly" would have received a life sentence in prison if he was over 18 years old.
