The teenage girl is sentenced to closed youth care for one year and four months for attempted murder and the man to three and a half years in prison for instigation of gross assault.
”The district court has come to the conclusion that the 15-year-old, despite her age, must have realized that there was a considerable risk that the 17-year-old girl would die from the stab wound in the back and that she was indifferent to the girl dying at the time of the act”, says presiding judge Ingegärd Lind in a press release.
At the same time, three teenage boys are sentenced. One of them lent out the knife used in the act and he is sentenced to closed youth care for aiding and abetting gross assault. Two boys who contributed in different ways are sentenced for aiding and abetting assault.
